Here are some resources for teaching AC History curated by Maree Whitely (AISWA History Curriculum Consultant) using ThingLink. Tap on the image to access the different resources.

ThingLink is a free app that can be used to create an interactive image. You can embed videos, website addresses, text and images using this app. The final result is saved as a web link. I have created a class ThingLink account for my class so that students can create their own interactive images on their iPad and save them for the whole class to view. This app gives students the opportunity to collect ideas and content in one text using multiple modes. In History, students could overlay information about a place, person, event or map to create a multimodal digital text to demonstrate their historical understanding and knowledge.
